I'm Fadi – a "few" years young (who's counting?), mother, wife, engineer, passionate food blogger, cooking instructor, cookbook author, and founder of Chez Fadi's Sauces. But above all these titles, I am one thing above all: an enthusiastic cook and foodie!
In my kitchen, everything comes to life, but my greatest passion lies with the delicious flavors of Cameroonian and West African cuisine. Nothing fulfills me more than spoiling my loved ones with a lovingly prepared meal. Not only family and friends get to share in the enjoyment of my creations – colleagues and members of my various clubs also enjoy my culinary skills. It is my heartfelt desire to bring a smile to everyone's face when they gather around my table!
Since the delicious Cameroonian and West African cuisine is not yet widely known in Germany, I have set myself a passionate mission: to spread the culinary treasures of West Africa throughout the German-speaking world! This cuisine is an exciting journey of discovery, full of unique flavors and fascinating combinations just waiting to be explored.
It all started with me writing down my creations and sharing them with friends and family via WhatsApp or email. But then I had a brilliant idea: Why not start a blog to share my recipes and the stories behind them with you? This way, I can not only express my love for West African cuisine but also invite others to experience these exciting flavors.
It is particularly important to me to share the rich traditions and diverse treasures of my culture with a wider audience. In my cookbook, "Cameroonian and West African Recipes," I have collected my favorite dishes—they are (mostly) easy to prepare, authentic, and bursting with flavor. Each recipe tells its own story and invites you to discover the warm hospitality and vibrant aromas of my homeland.
I was born in Cameroon and have now lived in Germany longer than in my homeland. Every dish I cook is like a journey back to my happy childhood, full of flavor memories and loving moments. I want to share this culinary journey with you, to bring you closer to the magic and warmth of Cameroonian cuisine.
