Did you know?

Tilapia is a genus of African cichlids . The genus name is derived from "thlapi", a general term for fish in the Bantu languages .

I've known tilapia since my early childhood. It was often bought smoked and cooked in tomato sauce, pistachio sauce, or other sauces.

I rarely ate fresh tilapia before. I only discovered it for myself in Germany, and it's now one of my favorite fish.

Black tilapia has a firm consistency, while red tilapia has a more delicate consistency.

Which one do I prefer??? Tough decision. I'd say it's a matter of taste. But one thing I know for sure: I like both types best baked or grilled.

Today I'm sharing one of my favorite tilapia recipes with you.

Have fun cooking!

Clean the fish, wash it, and pat it dry. Then make incisions in the fish so the marinade can penetrate easily. Next, season well with salt. Now rub it thoroughly with Magic Sauce and a little oil, and let it marinate for at least one hour
