Cameroonian and West African cuisine reinterpreted
Spread the love of cooking

Did I mention that chicken is one of the most popular 'vegetables' among us Cameroonians/West Africans?

Yes, we love chicken and can prepare it in countless ways. But we always prefer it with the bones! I'll show you many variations here on my blog, but one thing's for sure: I definitely won't be able to show them all.

So today I'm going to share with you how I prepare my crispy chicken thighs, just like at Chez Fadi's.

So, let's get cooking with vegetables! Have fun cooking!

  • Mix the eggs, milk and a little salt well in a bowl
  • Take the chicken pieces out of the refrigerator and coat them one after the other in egg, then in flour, then in egg again, and finally in breadcrumbs
crispy chicken3
  • Heat the frying oil in a pan and fry the breaded chicken pieces on all sides until golden brown
  • Place the pieces on a baking tray and bake for approximately 30 minutes using the grill function

Mayo, barbecue sauce or allspice sauce , and anything else you could want as a side dish.

Bon appetite.

My tip for you:

During baking in the oven, the meat loses the oil it absorbed during frying. This makes the meat leaner than if it had been deep-fried.

Et voilà! Bon appétit!

Mayo, barbecue sauce or allspice sauce go well with this, and anything else you could want as a side dish.
