Dessert au Gari | Semolina pudding made with gari and topped with fruit and peanuts
Ingredients
- approx. 200 g white gari
- approx. 300 g natural yogurt
- approx. 100 ml condensed milk
- A few drops of lemon/vanilla flavoring
- approx. 500 ml cold water
Topping
- dried cranberries
- raspberry
- strawberry
- peanuts
- Mint leaves (decoration)
Instructions
- Place the gari in a bowl, cover very lightly with cold water and set aside to soak.
- Now, in another bowl, add yogurt, condensed milk, and lemon flavoring and mix everything together into a creamy mixture.
- Now stir the soaked gari well, then gradually add it to the creamy mixture, stirring constantly until the consistency of semolina pudding is achieved.
- Portion the gari porridge into small bowls or glasses, garnish with cranberries, berries, strawberries or any fruit and decorate with a few mint leaves.
- Leave to chill in the refrigerator for about half an hour, add a few peanuts for crunch before serving, and enjoy cold!
