Coconuts can be found almost everywhere in West Africa and Cameroon
- 200g fresh peeled coconut
- 100 g sugar
- 100 ml water
- 1 couple of drops of lemon or other flavorings (optional)
Finely grate the coconut using a grater
Put the water in a pot and bring it to a boil
Add the sugar and continue cooking until the water thickens
Add the shredded coconut and flavorings and continue stirring until it becomes a golden mass
Remove from the heat and let cool briefly
Then don't form them into balls. Done
The little balls taste wonderful with coffee or as an accompaniment to various desserts
