  • Peel and finely chop the onions, and grind the pepper fresh using a mortar and pestle or pepper mill
  • Place the ground meat in a large bowl, then add, one after the other, salt, ground pepper, chopped onions, garlic paste or pressed garlic cloves, lovage or parsley, Magic Sauce (or your own herb mix) and finally the egg.
  • Mix everything well, preferably with your hands, to ensure it's thoroughly blended. Then, if desired, form small balls from the mixture and place them side by side in an air fryer basket (if you don't have an air fryer, you can use the oven or a lightly greased pan)
  • Place the meatballs in the air fryer basket and cook for approximately 20 minutes until golden brown on all sides. Remove the meatballs and enjoy hot or cold

Notes

I recommend topping a fresh baguette with it, a dollop of mayo and hot sauce, e.g., Hot and Spicy.
