Rinse the salmon briefly under cold water and pat dry with kitchen paper
Then add some oil to the pan and spread it evenly. Place the salmon skin-side down in the pan
Now put the peppercorns into the mortar and grind briefly, then add the peeled garlic cloves and grind again until a paste is formed.
Add oil and salt to the paste, mix well, and coat the salmon all over with it
Now let the fish stand for about 15 minutes so that the spices can penetrate well
Then place the pan on the stove and fry for about 3 minutes on the highest setting, then turn over so that the crispy skin is now facing upwards.
Then fry for another 3 minutes on high heat and then for about 4 minutes on medium heat
Turn over again and cook for another 3 minutes on medium heat and it's done.
Remove the cooked salmon steak from the pan and serve with your choice of side dish and enjoy
